Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Safety Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to adverse and near miss events, reviewing trends and
making recommendations for improvement
Coordinate the development and implementation of safety programs
and projects, managing staff and resources effectively
Conduct educational training and coaching on patient safety topics
for medical and support staff
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an Allied Health field, or
equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience in project management, performance
improvement, or patient safety
Ability to attend virtual meetings reliably
Demonstrated knowledge of system-level thinking and root cause
analysis
Experience analyzing data for patient safety and areas of potential
improvement
