Payment Integrity Associate

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Associate, Payment Integrity.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expertise in internal claims processing edits and reimbursement policies, focusing on Anesthesia billing and coding
Identify claims payment issues and recommend remediation steps based on data analysis
Document coding rules and collaborate with internal partners to implement changes and improve payment integrity processes

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience
4+ years of experience in claims processing, coding, auditing, or healthcare operations
4+ years of experience in medical coding with a focus on Anesthesia coding guidelines
Medical coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA
Experience with reimbursement methodologies and claims processing practices
