This team member serves as a knowledgeable consultant to supply financial solutions that are in the best interest of the member in an effort to consistently exceed our members' expectations. MSC l will provide our members and potential members with valuable suggestions in order to take advantage of Foothill Federal Credit Union (FFCU) products and services in an attempt to improve their financial health. The MSC I is expected to not only provide excellent member service but is accountable for cross selling goals and promotional opportunities offered to our members. The MSC I is expected to take personal responsibility for constantly improving their knowledge level for all Credit Union products and services as well as Credit Union operations and compliance issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The MSC l is the first person encountered when members enter the branch and the MSC l will greet each member and guide them to the area that best suits their need. The MSC l embraces the Credit Union's mission to improve members' financial health by providing an exceptional member experience and demonstrate support of the credit union's core values by always representing the Credit Union in a professional, helpful, friendly, and prompt manner.

  • Home Banking set up process including e-statements
  • Orders checks for member accounts
  • Completes payroll deductions and authorization forms
  • Takes stop payment orders
  • Renews and updates certificate accounts
  • Performs file maintenance and account changes as needed
  • Maintains IRA accounts and answers basic questions regarding IRAs
  • Take application on Meridian Link for the best consumer loan product/s for the member
  • When opening new members accounts, through Meridian pull credit for full credit review and processing
  • Print loan documents, collect signatures and collect required documents to complete loan file
  • Assists team members as needed, includes covering the teller line, and provide whatever assistance to members entering the branch.
  • Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly
  • Performs other duties as needed Other Skills and Abilities:

      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • At least 1-2 years related experience in a member service oriented position preferably within a credit union working in such departments as: New Accounts. IRA's, Lending, ATM, etc.
      • Good understanding of Credit Union services and products
      • Signing loan experience preferred
