Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare
professional with specialized skills in Occupational Therapy is
needed to support student well-being and development in an
educational setting. This role involves delivering therapeutic
interventions designed to help students improve their functional
abilities, enabling them to succeed both academically and socially.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop
individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Implement
therapeutic activities and interventions aimed at enhancing fine
motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to
integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment. Monitor
progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, maintaining
detailed documentation of student outcomes. Participate in meetings
and provide training or guidance to staff regarding accommodations
and adaptive strategies. Travel to various school locations as
required to ensure consistent service delivery. Qualifications and
Experience: Valid and current Occupational Therapy licensure.
Experience working with school-aged children in educational or
clinical settings. Strong understanding of pediatric therapy
modalities and educational program requirements. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
collaboratively with a diverse team. Flexibility and willingness to
travel between sites as necessary. Location:This position is based
in Long Beach, California, with travel required to multiple school
