household.Summary: The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) is expected
to deliver unparalleled member services while providing assistance
with the the direction and administration of the branch operations.
This position helps ensure that the established policies and
procedures are being followed consistently. The ABM is involved
with the full range of services for members and prospective
members. They ensure members are served promptly and professionally
while assisting with the direction, training and supervision of
branch team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The job
duties, responsibilities, and requirements represent the knowledge,
skill, and/or ability required but may not be all-inclusive.
Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by
supervisors as deemed appropriate. - Ensure operations are
conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies and
with legal and regulatory requirements. - In partnership with the
Branch Manager and/or the Operations Supervisor (OS)/Member Service
Consultant III (MSCIII) ensure branch security and security
training: open and close the building in accordance with set hours.
- Promote branch business development activities and seek to
broaden member base; guide the team to cross-sell Credit Union
services and deepen member relationships effectively - Assist the
Branch Manager with leading and developing the team to
enthusiastically embrace a sales and service environment - Maintain
proper cash controls; ensure all branch transactions are balanced
at the close of each day - Control and handle daily deposits in
accordance with established policies and procedures - Assist the
Branch Manager with responsibility for team members' development,
coaching, and guidance; provide leadership through effective
objective setting and communication and minimum monthly 2 on 1's -
Ensure high-quality work and efficiency in operations are
maintained; determine work methods and flow through assigning,
directing, coordinating, and reviewing tasks - Periodically perform
cash audits in possession of MSR's and vault cash on the premises -
Assume responsibility for maintaining effective, professional
business relations with members, and the Credit Union's quality
reputation is maintained and projected - Ensure current member
accounts are maintained or expanded and consult members regarding
their financial needs and services - Ensure branch operations are
well coordinated with accounting, loan processing, and credit
functions; manage and oversees expenses; pursues cost-saving
measures - Process loan requests from all channels. Interviews for
additional loan options, complies with loan policies and procedures
using Meridian Link effectively - Keep Branch Manager informed of
branch activities, progress toward established objectives, and of
any significant problems; request assistance when necessary - Fill
in for Branch Manager as needed - Develops controls to monitor
proper compliance of all applicable regulations, including, but not
limited to BSA, CIP, OFAC. Foothill Credit Union is an Equal

degree preferable or equivalent combined education and work
experience of a minimum of three years--additional college
coursework in business or finance preferred - At least three years
of related experience in a financial institution (Credit Union
preferred), - Supervisory and training experience - Thorough
