Job Description Description: Vice President, Revenue Cycle The Vice
President, Revenue Cycle manages and oversees the authorization,
coding, billing, claims and collections for the Company. The Vice
President, Revenue Cycle is responsible for maximizing the
productivity and minimizing the errors of the Billing Department
using structured auditing and reporting methodologies combined with
follow-up training. The Vice President, Revenue Cycle will assume a
strategic and practical role in the finance department to include
day-to-day responsibility for billing processing and strategy,
planning, management and analysis, and policy development.

revenue cycle function including developing strategic direction for
the function, delivering on the operational & financial goals, and
identifying, analyzing, implementing solutions to critical revenue
cycle issues..Oversees the day-to-day activities of the
authorization, verification, eligibility, invoicing and collections
departments.Oversees denials Management, including reporting,
accountability and resolution.Protects confidentiality within the
parameters of federal guidelines and established policy and process
as well as compliance with payer and provider contractsLeads in
development and implementation of policies/procedures to assure
compliance with new regulatory standards affecting
billing/revenueManaging, training, and coaching individual team
members, including creating personnel development and succession
plans and partnering with HR as needed to maintain an engaged and
productive teamDevelop and maintain strong relationships with
stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment
with organizational goals and priorities.Summarizes and
communicates revenue cycle successes, challenges, and trends to the
executive team.Monitor and evaluate the performance of Revenue
Cycle KPIs to ensure services meet, or exceed agreed upon
benchmarks.Identify, develop, and implement strategies and
solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the
revenue cycle processes.Collaborates with the Finance team to
manage the month-end close, cash flow forecasting and annual audit
processes.Partner with the contracting team to manage the modeling
and negotiation process, evaluate proposals, and provide guidance
to executive leadership on the financial impact and viability of
the contract.Work closely with Finance and IT team to translate
contract changes and analytics including support on the financial
forecast.Management of RCM Operations, business intelligence
requirements, including the optimization of reporting tools within
the EHR system.Design and implement sound tools to efficiently
measure, monitor and forecast Payor P&L.Oversee production of
clear and concise summaries of analytical findings for easy
consumption through an assortment of presentations, executive
summaries, and communication.Execute a roadmap to get to
standardized RCM approach - requiring long-range planning
capabilities, strong relationship skills, and a great understanding
of the criticality of execution.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES: REQUIRED: Equivalent to Bachelor's degree
in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration or
equivalent and 7-10 or more years billing experience with
management experience as a Director or above.Experience with
working in an integrated health care system required.Must have
experience and be A/R oriented, daily and monthly closings, and
understand the revenue cycle for all payers.Demonstrated knowledge
of all Insurance companies, HMO's, PPO's, Medicare, third party
payersDirectly overseeing payer and provider billing, collections,
and cash postingFacilitating communication between and extracting
relevant information from a variety of stakeholders in order to
comprehensively identify problems and subsequently create
sustainable and scalable solutionsExcellent written and oral
communication skillsExperience managing subordinates and
teams.Ability to work at a strategic and tactical level. DESIRABLE:
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare
Administration. Considerable prior coursework or on-the-job
training in optical, ophthalmology, insurance, and management.
Knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, Care Cloud, Acuity Logic,
SIS, Advantx. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:Certified Revenue
Cycle Specialist or Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (preferred)
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described
here are representative of those an employee encounters while

sedentary office classification but may require field visits and
driving. Temperature conditions are controlled with limited direct
exposure to hazardous physical substances. The noise level in the
work environment is usually low to moderate.While performing the
