Job Description:
The Organization Methodist Hospital of Southern California was
founded in Los Angeles in 1903 by the Women's Home Missionary
Society of the Methodist Church. Having been founded in one of the
busiest parts of the country, our full-service hospital has grown
significantly in the last 100 years. We currently have 348 licensed
beds and treat more than 40,000 patients in the Emergency
Department each year. We have spared no effort to provide our
patients with the best care possible. Our facility is outfitted
with advanced diagnostic technology like the 320-slice CT scanner
and high-definition MRI. We also manage state-of-the-art
catheterization labs, electrophysiology, and neuro-interventional
radiology. Methodist Hospital of Southern California is in the
final stages of its affiliation with Keck Medicine of USC and
anticipates it will be finalized in July 2022 when it will then
become USC Arcadia Hospital. It is important to note that the
Foundation will remain independent and continue to raise funds
solely for the hospital on the Arcadia campus. Methodist Hospital's
remarkable service to residents of the San Gabriel Valley would not
be possible without the dedication, commitment and financial
support of the Methodist Hospital Foundation. Gifts and bequests to
the Foundation provide resources for new medical technology,
first-rate hospital facilities, and high-quality, personal health
care services. We strive to provide the people of the San Gabriel
Valley and Los Angeles County with comprehensive medical services.
We are a non-profit hospital, and donations go a long way in aiding
us in our mission and expanding our services. Through gifts,
philanthropic support, and donations, we have grown into a vibrant,
state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology, and
we're still looking for ways to improve. The Foundation regularly
hosts community fundraising events. By participating in fun
activities, you can both support your local hospital and socialize
with friends and neighbors. The proceeds from these events go on to
support our hospital and staff. One of the foundation's more
popular events is the Crystal Ball, a now-famous social activity in
the San Gabriel Valley. The Crystal Ball has contributed more than
$7.5 million to hospital growth and helped us transform our campus.
We also hold an annual Mari Gras event attended by more than 700
guests and businesses and has contributed over $1.5 million in its
22-year history. The Position Director of Annual Giving Reporting
