Job Description:

Bachelorrsquos degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field or Health Care related field. Masterrsquos degree preferred. PMP or similar certification preferred. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare analytics role with demonstrated project management skills. Required understanding of health care terminology and knowledgeableexperienced with CMS revenue cycle, including Risk Adjustment and HEDIS and some or all of the following provider data, claims data, pharmacy data, lab data, and enrollment data. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Leadership skills including setting the example, motivating team to be high performers and customer service-oriented, taking the initiative to achieve the outcome Interpersonal skills Some knowledge in general tools such as using SQL Server, SSIS, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, or other relevant software packages is preferred. Superior computer skills are a given, with working knowledge of clinical program analytic software packages such as SAS, SPSS, Stata. Must possess strong project management skills, solid analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people. Experience in health care insurance or health care industry required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and forge strong interpersonal relationships within the department, with other departments, and with external audiences. Attention to detail is critical to the success of this position, with demonstrated competency in customer orientation and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Ability to monitor project progress and communicate interim and final results to senior management needed. Ability to re-engineer processes to positively impact productivity in terms of timeliness and accuracy required. Quality review analytic results necessary. Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate recommendations to senior management Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing required. Essential Functions Manage design, development, UAT, QA and release of new reports Manage roll out of new report tools New health plantermed health planhealth plan changes (i.e. Contract change, member ID change, other) MRA file management and reconciliation process management Assist with chasing down data falloutdiscrepancies Specialty cost analysis management DW data scrubbing process Documentation manager Build relationships with internal and external customers, providing superior customer service while managing expectations Assist in developing the HCE operational goals and metrics, in support of the departmentrsquos and organizationrsquos strategy Collaborate with other organizational leaders to identify emerging needs and rally around solutions Collaborate with Finance and other Business owners to manage the HCE departmentrsquos budget and management therein Collaborate with IT and Finance to bridge incoming data to GAAP Financial Accounting of the organization Ensure effective and efficient reconciliation processes for incoming and outgoing data, optimizing the outcomes of unreconciled items Develop and maintain working relationships with Health Plans (our customers), and external contacts as appropriate. Ensure HCE team develops, documents, maintains and updates policies and procedures. Meet deadlines and turnaround times set by managers and department director (these deadlines and turnaround times will, at times, require the employee to work until the project is completed, meaning extended daily work hours, extended work weeks, or both). Ensure HCE team is trained on PPs and cross-trained within the team, facilitating stability of the departmentrsquos effectiveness Develop, implement and execute HCE University for Business owners Ability to work with multiple internal and external partners at various levels of the organization. Strong aptitude for quickly troubleshooting and identifying the cause of questionable results within extracts and reports. Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills.
