Specialist role: Any combination of training/education, and
experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited
college/university. 2 years of successful experience in comparable
public, private, or non-profit sectors; experience with
virtual/blended learning environments is preferred. Proven ability
to work independently, identify creative solutions, and handle
sensitive information with strict confidentiality. Exemplary
written and oral skills, specifically in presenting complex
compliance and management reports. Strong ability to build and
maintain effective relationships with internal and external
partners. These are the desired skills to serve in the Academic
Services Support Specialist role: Advanced use of Google Workspace,
Microsoft Office, AI applications, project management and digital
communication tools (e.g., Gmail, ParentSquare). Expertise in
navigating Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management
Systems (LMS), and project management software. Ability to rapidly
learn and apply new technology, software, and evolving laws,
regulations. Policies and procedures. High attention to detail in
data collection, organization, and executing complex administrative
tasks and projects A collegial approach to teamwork and the ability
to manage multifaceted projects simultaneously. Essential duties
and responsibilities for the Academic Services Support Specialist
may include: Provides high-level support to the CAO and Academic
Directors, managing both routine and urgent complex tasks; supports
meeting protocols and technology. Facilitates data entry, auditing,
management and reporting from various sources; manages scholar
rosters in school and learning applications, and tracks school
processes, (e.g., SST and Tiered Re-engagement). Manages the
end-to-end "Curriculum Locker" process, including the ordering,
mailing, and tracking of school supplies and non-consumable
materials via Amazon and other vendors. Independently plans
division support functions, manages special projects, Coordinates
and executes in-person events, handling everything from outreach
and ordering to printing and preparing, to inventory delivery and
storage. Serves as a liaison for central office functions and other
duties as assigned to ensure scholar success; Applies and abides by
state laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures. Other
duties as assigned. Although the Academic Services Support

measure impact. Work Environment: Position is based in the Central
Office in Thousand Oaks, in the State of California. As the safety,
adequacy, and functionality of the approved home office is key,
approval must be provided to work from any other location with the
exception of the Central Office. May be required to also work from
another Compass location as directed by supervisor or the
Superintendent & CEO. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as
needed to meet the needs of scholars, Learning Coaches (parents),
and staff. Must be able to travel throughout the State of
California for school-related activities. Note - you will be
required to notify Human Resources if any work will be performed in
San Francisco or out of state for any period of time for review and
