The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivables and reducing the amount of credit risk the company assumes. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a portfolio of accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and accurate reporting Regularly reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies Communicate with clients to ensure timely payment of all invoices, including follow-up calls and emails Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of on-time payments Analyze client credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit Negotiate payment plans with clients who have outstanding balances Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients to ensure smooth collection processes Prepare reports on account status for internal stakeholders Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory standards in the collections process Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer interactions Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, with a focus on accounts receivable and reconciliations Exceptional knowledge of billing procedures, collections techniques, and revenue recognition Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently Detail-oriented, with high levels of accuracy and organization Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory standards in collections Proven track record of achieving collections targets If you are a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
